Η 57η Διεθνής Ασσυριολογική Συνάντηση, με θέμα «Tradition and Innovation in the Ancient Near East», θα πραγματοποιηθεί στη Ρώμη, στις 4-8 Ιουλίου 2011.

– continuity and transformation in visual arts
– continuity and change in settlement patterns
– behavioural patterns founded in the past
– administrative and juridical formularies
– archaisms in writing, language, literature and arts
– traditions transmitted in other regions
– innovation and conservatorism in technology
